Our local experts and cooks, Debbie and Roxanne will lead you on a fun hands-on Colombian Cooking class, where you will be able to prepare and sample 2 traditional recipes, from a wide variety of salty or sweet dishes.

  • Ajiaco ( Mouthwatering soup made with 3 kinds of potatoes)
  • Sancocho (Hearty soup that combines potatoes, corn, plantains and meat)
  • Patacones (  A Fried Plantains treat)
  • Papa Chorreada (Creamy Potatoes)
  • Arepa con queso ( Arepa stuffed cheese)
  • Arepa de Huevo (Arepa stuffed with egg)
  • Almojabana ( Colombian Cheese Bread)
  • Pan de Yuca ( Bread made with cassava flour and cheese)
  • Pan de bono ( Colombian Cheese bread)
  • Black Beans

Sweet Options:

  • Merengon de Guanabana ( Colombian based meringue dessert with Guanabana fruit)
  • Merengon with red berries ( Colombian based meringue dessert)
  • Chocolate Merengon ( Colombian based meringue dessert)
  • Black berries Mousse
  • Passion Fruits Mousse
  • Tres leches Cake ( a light sponge cake with a mixture of three kinds of milk)
  •  Maria Luisa ( layered cake with guava paste and arequipe)

While preparing, mixing and baking all the ingredients, the experts will explain everything about the local dishes and by the end get ready to taste and savor your own creations. This Colombian cooking class is a traditional and fun way of exploring Bogota.
